Agnes and Harry with Raj in India

We are back in our home country! Thank you very much for your help: you have given a job to an excellent driver, and a very nice journey to us. We felt at ease immediately with Raj. He asked about our plans and expectations, and those were completely fulfilled! We are very satisfied with him and would recommend him to anyone.

November is a good month to go to Rajasthan: the days are not too hot and at night the air loses heat quickly. We have celebrated Diwali and visited the Pushkar camel fair (which we definitely recommend). In Keoladeo National Park we saw thousands of birds of passage incubating their eggs after the monsoons, but Rhantambore National Park disappointed: we had to wait hours to get a ticket, and we did not see any tigers and barely any other wild animals. In Bundi, the people - and the children especially - were very friendly. We could make photographs there without being asked for money.

In Jaipur, we drank coffee at a wedding (we visited during the wedding season). We also went to the Jaipur Foot hospital , where we saw the entire prosthesis production process and spoke to patients and the passionate specialist who founded this institute, which has already given a free prosthesis to 1.3 million Indians. It also provides transportation, accommodation and food to the poorest members of society for free.

You cannot imagine how happy they are, walking out of the hospital equipped with a new prosthesis . you really should be there to see it. The costs per prosthesis are only 35 dollars (!!!), and this money is provided by sponsors. If you want to support a project in India, please consider Jaipur Foot hospital!

We went back to Delhi by Nawalgarh, with the well-conserved havelis, and from there to home . Measured in kilometres, the tour was not that long (we had already seen most Rajasthan highlights with Bharat, three years ago), but this made it less exhausting, different, and just as delightful.
